Health & Wellbeing Council

We have a very active Health and Well-being Council at the school. We work to improve the overall well-being of the school community by promoting health, safety, and positive mental health practices. We focus on various aspects like healthy eating, mental health awareness, and creating a supportive school environment for pupils and staff. For example, we have an after school mindfulness club which has been a huge success, and we constantly involve the school in healthy eating or physical activity initiatives.

Here at the school we take part in the 'Daily Mile' which is a Nationwide Health & Wellbeing initiative - this results in all of our pupils going outdoors everyday and walking on our Daily Mile path, where they walk, run, and chat to friends. We have seen huge benefits in both mental and physical health as a result.
