  • Harvest Festival

    Fri 15 Oct 2021

    Dear Parents,

    Harvest Festival – w/c 18th October, 2021

It is at this time of year when we normally collect for the Harvest Festival to coincide with the Harvest Service in school. Unfortunately, this is not able to happen again this year. But as a school we would still like to celebrate the harvest festival, and ask all our parents to kindly make donations so that we can present our harvest gifts to the Flintshire Foodbank, like we have in previous years.

Therefore, from Monday next week (18th October, 2021), we are asking parents to drop off an item from the list below when they drop their child off in the morning. A large collection box will be placed outside the main school entrance (for Foundation Phase parents) and one at the Junior entrance (for KS2 parents). Please place all donations in the box and these will be collected. Please do not send the item in with your child into class. We will continue to receive donations until Friday, 22nd October, 2021.

We are asking for the following classes to please bring in the following items:

Year 6 Cereal products (E.g. breakfast cereals, bread sticks, breakfast bars etc)

Year 5 Tins – Not tinned fruit (E.g. baked beans, tinned meat, spaghetti, soup etc)

Year 4 Tinned Fruit (E.g. Peaches, Pineapple etc)

Year 3 Pasta Products (E.g. Lasagne sheets, pasta shapes etc)

    Year 2 Biscuits/Rice Cakes

    Year 1 Nuts/Dried Fruit/Snacks/Crisps

    Reception/Nursery Toothpaste, soaps, deodorants.

We thank you in advance for all your support with this and will update you when the donations have been presented to the Flintshire Foodbank.

    Kind regards,

    Mr. I.G. Roberts

Congratulations to our Seren yr wythnos.  Our key attribute this week was resilience and these pupils have all shown resilience in a variety of tasks they have faced this week!  Congratulations to them!
