Mrs Berry, Miss Heather and Miss Williams welcome you.

Our incredible Early Years phase offers children excellent learning with modern and well resourced areas. Both Nursery and Reception classrooms are welcoming and engaging, with plenty of space for children to play and interact. Outdoors, there are lots of fun spaces that encourage play and curiosity.

The dedicated team in Early Years ensure the best education is given to our little learners to give them the best possible start to school. We ensure that we have confident and happy children who bound into school every day.

Early Entitlement

Children are eligible for Early Entitlement Education at Ysgol Abermorddu in the term after their third birthday:

if they are 3 between September and December, they can start in the spring term (January).
if they are 3 between January and Easter, they can can start in the summer term (after Easter).

Monday to Thursday 9:00 - 11:30am

Nursery

Admissions to Nursery take place in the September following your child's 3rd birthday. Nursery is provided on the basis of 5 x 2.5 hour sessions per week.

Monday to Friday 9:00 - 11:30am

Additional Hours (Wraparound & After School Club)

Abermorddu Kids Club provide our wraparound care, and after school club. Wraparound is provided in the same classroom and outdoor space as Nursery. Children are welcome to stay in Wraparound from 11:30 - 3:00pm. After school club is available from 3:00 - 6:00pm and is provided in the School Hall. Applications must be made through Abermorddu Kids Club. Click on the button below for further information.
