Meet Our Digital Heroes

Welcome to our Digital Heroes page.

 

Digital Heroes is a Wales Co-Operative scheme run across Wales, supporting community regeneration, economic development and social justice through co-operative solutions.

 

Our Digital Heroes have been selected from our Year 5 and 6 class and have been trained by a certified Digital Communities Wales trainer.

 

The training consisted of a variety of safety aspects linked to digital equipment, as well as possible restrictions some members of our communities have with regards to getting online. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the training and provided some excellent questions and answers.

 

Our aim this year, along with Linzi Jones from Wales Co-operative and Digital Communities Wales, is to attend local residential homes in the Abermorddu, Hope and Caergwrle area and discuss online safety with our community members, as well as teaching them how to use new and old technology to help them with day to day activities.
